BellOnline Service Status

A small number of resellers on the value network noticed a bug that caused accounts to become inaccessible when the reseller changed a user’s password. The account needed to be reset by Admin.

This bug has been identified and fixed.

If you are a reseller and have recently changed a password causing the user account to become accessible, there is now a very easy fix. Simply log in and go to the user account admin and submit the form without making any changes, your user will then be able to log in.

There seems to be some buffering on that server which is being looked in to. No other servers on the network are being affected.

Network card replaced, issue resolved.

The RAM has also been replaced on the server after a couple of crashes. No more issues are expected.

Possible issue with USA5-VN is being investigated

We are experiencing an outage on the USA Value network. This is due to a router issue. The network admin is working on it but its going to take a little time to get it back online. I don’t have a solid time frame for when this issue will be resolved.

Servers are starting to come back online. It may take a little while for everything to be completely back to normal while the routing sorts itself out.

There are still a few issues with routing that need to be ironed out – you may find that streams are working for some locations and not others.

I’m monitoring the servers very closely but it looks like they are back online and pretty much back to normal now and have been for the last 5-10 minutes.

You might still experience some small amounts of buffering for a few minutes due to the amount of traffic but it will calm down if it hasn’t already.

If there are any further problems then this topic will be updated.

USA Value Network outage

Some new features are being developed for MixStream customers:

Listener authentication (free)
Where listeners enter a username and password to listen to yourr stream

Location authentication (free)
Allow listeners from specific countries to listen

Video streaming
Stream NSV files as well as audio from AutoDJ

Authentication services should be available in the next week, video streaming is a much bigger job and there is no ETA for that as of yet.
